Information about Joaquín Cuenca
I studied Physics at the
University of Valencia in Spain and later received a degree in
Informatics in Paris (France). My roots are in Soy de Cox
(Alicante, Spain).
I worked as a programmer in Celium SARL in Paris, while I was studying.
Now I am working for the company WizArt and I
collaborate with ainda.info.
In my free time I help to develop free programs. I made the Abiword text processor version for
Linux Gnome and for the new
technology Xft/fontconfig of
X Window. I have also participated in other tasks like the maintenance
of Glade-3.
I founded Panoramio.com
together with Eduardo Manchón in July 2005, since then in my
free I work on this project.
My interest in the User Interface area started when I attended one
course based on Michel Beaudoin-Lafon researches.
